Single Session Therapy (SST)
Single Session Therapy is a form of therapy that is brief, and increases accessibility to therapy services.

What is SST?
SST is a brief form of therapy that targets a specific goal or problem in one 60-90 minute session.
SST helps provide short term guidance for people who are feeling stuck, wanting support with a specific issue, or navigating making a decision. It also allows access to brief therapy for people who may not be able to fit regular sessions into their schedule or do not want to engage in long-term therapy. SST uses solution focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and structured goal setting.
Current SST Offerings:
GLP-1 counseling: This services offers a session to individuals who are considering starting a GLP-1 medication such as Ozempic, Wegovy, or Zepbound. This session will help identify questions and concerns related to GLP-1 medications, and use structured activities to help decide if this is the right fit for you. I do not provide specific recommendations, rather help you to explore your concerns, questions, hopes, and goals to determine if medication is a good fit for you. In this one hour session we will discuss your overall goals and health habits, and discuss how GLP-1 medications would fit in to this plan. While this is intended to be one session, a second session or booster session at a later time may be recommended to follow up and provide any additional support.
